Supervisor, Corporate Wellness


Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Oversee Population Health and Wellness program for Holman Enterprises, its operating companies, and all employees by working towards a culture of wellness
  • Support the Wellness & Benefits teams to design and implement strategic population health initiatives to improve employee health and well-being, minimize disease risk, reduce healthcare-related expenses, reduce absenteeism and improve employee engagement and efficiency
  • Design and implement programs to target the various types of well-being: physical, emotional, social, financial, and more
  • Implement a points-based health rewards program for all employees
  • Manage relationships, needs and feedback from  multiple different internal stakeholders at varying levels
  • Manage relationships with consultants and vendors (includes healthcare partners and EAP provider) to maximize resources and outcomes
  • Support the Wellness Coordinator with personal development and job duties to include all program/event management
  • Lead team of over 80 Health Champions throughout the business
  • Creates trainings, presentations and organization announcements
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal communications teams to develop and implement a multi-media, multi-platform communication strategy to engage employees and promote program brand awareness
  • Works closely with legal team to ensure wellness program compliance and minimize risk
  • Manage content for Wordpress-based website
  • Set program goals, communicate them and report on progress towards goals
  • Track and report program outcomes from multiple sources, including healthcare utilization, budget, and participation data
  • Support the Life Safety Committee by managing CPR/AED training and AED monitoring programs

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Public Health, Social Work, Nutrition, or a health-related field required (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Corporate Wellness certification preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of medical benefits design
  • Basic knowledge of public health program implementation, engagement strategies, and behavior change theory
  • Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills (including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Preferred completion of coursework related to anatomy, physiology, basic nutrition, exercise science, counseling and adult education.


Relevant Work Experience:

  • Experience working in a health-care setting (RN, PA, RD, etc.)
  • Patient-care experience preferred
  • Experience conducting educational and support groups preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing health-focused initiatives through medical benefits strategy, value-based benefits design, and current trends within the industry
  • Ability to evaluate data and create reporting
  • Large-scale project management experience preferred


Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge: 

  • Ability to develop and implement multi-year strategy
  • Ability to align program goals with department and business goals
  • Experience giving positive and negative feedback to direct report and Health Champions
  • Experience handling customer concerns and complaints
  • Ability to set annual program goals and communicate program outcomes to stakeholders (individual business leaders), Health Champions and Human Resources team

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Written and verbal direct customer/employee communication
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders at various levels within a business
  • Ability to support employee behavior change
