A Service Manager is responsible for recruiting and/or leading a team of technicians, service advisors and support staff, with the skills and qualifications to carry out the type of servicing and repairs offered. Candidate will supervise technicians’ performance and arrange training programs to keep the team’s skills up to date. A Service Manager will prepare schedules and plan staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed as quickly as possible. Applicant must be able to learn and understand the manufacturers’ warranty standards as well as the policies and procedures pertaining to the manufacturer.
