    ARI has an outstanding opportunity for a 4 month Internship in our Human Resources Department based in our Mississauga Head Office Location starting in September 2018 until December 2018.

     

    The Human Resources Department at ARI is a group of energetic and motivated individuals. The Intern will report to the Director, Human Resources. As a member of the Human Resources Department, the Intern will be responsible for a variety of projects & initiatives.

     

    Some Roles & Responsibilities

    • Provides general administrative support to the Human Resources Department and assists with HR departmental projects to ensure support is provided and project deadlines and deliverables are met and/or exceeded expectations
    • Review internal programs and provide recommendations on improvement
    • Research recruiting sources, as well as support with the overall recruitment process
    • Ensures 100% compliance with internal and external audits
    • Manage HR events such as New Hire Breakfasts; Anniversary Breakfasts and Take Your Child to Work Day
    • Prepares and manages invoices, reports, memos, letters and expense reports.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in at least second year of college or university study program;
    • Overall grade of B or above in an appropriate major of study;
    • Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn;
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
